Here we are at the end of term and the beginning of a long summer break. Are you going somewhere nice on holiday? Missing a place that is unreachable due to travel restrictions?

We are looking forward to a week in Cornwall. It’s our son’s first visit to an area we visited frequently before he was born. I’m looking forward to visiting some of out favourites – Tintagel, Minack, Heligan. Reliving memories and creating new ones with him.

We have a family tradition of buying one piece of art whenever we’re on holiday. The art hanging around our home holds the feeling and memory of our trips and prompts questions and discussions that allow us to remember in a way that photos don’t work for me.
Did you know that I create fibre art from photos? Is there somewhere particularly special and significant to you? Art can bring that feeling into your home.
Don’t have the right photo of your location? Don’t worry, I can source a photo to work from to recreate that special place for you as an original and personal fibre artwork.

Have a look at my commissions guide here and get in touch to discuss what you need…
and have a lovely sunny summer break!
